We always hear about the immense power of prayer and the miracles that can ensue from it. But what about the power of praying for others?
We all know this is important but how many of us actually do it? Whenever we hear someone is going through a hard time we usually blurt out the timely: “I’ll be praying for you brother/sister.” Yet when we get home we forget and focus on our troubles and our prayers.
As I have stated before in previous posts, God wants us to love each other deeply. With this we should be praying for our brothers and sisters and praying with the same earnest cries that we pray for our circumstances. In that we can experience a true caring and understanding for others resulting in a deeper kind of love.
Think about it, you really don’t want others to suffer, do you?
Even if you feel like there is nothing you can do just pray.
Because “if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 18:19
I challenge you today to find at at least one person for whom you can sincerely pray for, watch how your love for that person will grow.
