Faith in the Waiting

For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

Waiting is one of the hardest things to do as a human. We hate to see the same things and crave change to make life seem exciting. But there is a season of waiting that everyone has to go through, and it tests our faith and in return rewards us with patience and a new stage.
I am currently here and I must say it has been difficult! It feels like I have been stuck for 4 years in the same spot living virtually identical days. When the frustration came from my perceived need for change and the lack of any, I became a bitter and angry person frantically trying to make my own way out and failing at every turn.
It’s makes it hard on your spirit when you become angry and bitter from constantly waiting for change, waiting for God to use you in the big ways you’ve always imagined.
And that bitterness and anger can keep you from trusting God.
You see it builds up and creates a wall around your heart, tricking you into believing you can do it all on your own. But that’s not the case, in moments like this, in the waiting, God wants you to turn to Him and put your life in His hands. He wants you to see the fruit that your faith in Him will bear. He wants you to witness the amazing and awesome things that He has planned for you.
So just hold on and keep the faith during the waiting, God has something unbelievably wonderful He wants to do with your life!
